LISTOS Training

LISTOS (www.cfalistos.org) is a state-wide grassroots disaster preparedness program that can be tailored to meet the individual needs of Spanish-speaking communities. Family-oriented and taught in Spanish, the program is delivered in a format that is both culturally and linguistically appropriate for Coastside Spanish-speaking residents. Due to COVID-19, the now 4 hour course is taught in Spanish in two 2-hour sessions via Zoom. Graduates receive a graduation gift of personal emergency preparedness supplies.

Coastside CERT has partnered with Ayudando Latinos A Soñar (ALAS), the LISTOS organization, and the City of Half Moon Bay to offer the following pairs of training dates:

  • 2 Friday evenings in August, 8/6/21 + 8/13/ 2021 for two hours each.

  • Monday evening September 20, 2021 + Tuesday evening September 21, 2021 for two hours each.
